Christmas dinner celebrates season's reason
SANDPOINT — The wood logs gleamed in the light, lending a warmth to the Christmas decorations festively hung around Community Hall.
As laughter and conversation fill the room, Christmas dinner organizer Corky Kalben smiles as he looks around the room.
“That’s the fun part about it, talking to people you maybe haven’t seen for a year and here they are at the dinner, some of the guys coming in off the streets, some of them doing pretty good and some of them aren’t but it’s nice to just share the love of Jesus and that’s what it’s about,” Kalben said.
