Thunder girls ready for Tri-State tourney

Machaela Montgomery scored six points to lead the Kootenai Thunder in a recent Mountain Christian League girls basketball game.

The Thunder are 1-3 to start the season, and will compete in the Tri-State Invitational tournament starting on Monday, Dec. 29, at the Hub in Liberty Lake.

 The Thunder boys also return to action on Monday, hosting FVHSA in a nonleague game at Kootenai Elementary School.
