Teachers really do help students achieve goals

I was so excited and proud to see one of my former students, Danae Rokstad, on the front page as a Seattle Sea Gals cheerleader. It is so nice to see dreams come alive for someone who has worked so hard. It makes me realize that what we do as teachers can help a young person achieve their dreams. So to all the teachers, I say thank you for giving your students something to build on. Congratulations, Danae … I am so proud of you.
