Sandpoint Nordic Club competes in Junior Qualifier

SANDPOINT — Several Sandpoint Nordic Club skiers competed in the Junior National Qualifier race recently at Mt. Spokane.

This was the first Junior Qualifier race any of them had ever participated in, and even though nobody brought home a medal, it was a great experience. Youth ski teams from all over the Northwest were on hand so the competition was fierce. Many of the kids were skiing for a spot on the junior Olympic team.
