| January 9, 2014 6:00 AM

CLARK FORK — After three quarters, it looked like Clark Fork might claim its first win, but a one-sided fourth quarter proved otherwise.

Avery Brown Sonder scored a game-high 14 points, leading Lakeside to a 46-35 win over Clark Fork in North Star League girls basketball action Tuesday night at Clark Fork High School.

The Knights (4-8, 2-1 NSL) used an 11-2 edge in the fourth quarter to break open a close game.

“We kind of ran out of gas, playing with five players basically,” said Wampus Cats head coach Mark Stevens. “It was probably the best game we’ve played all year. We’re getting better.”

Lyndsie Kiebert led the Wampus Cats (0-7, 0-2 NSL) with 13 points, seven rebounds and three assists, Alicia Heigis pulled down 11 rebounds, Callie Potter scored eight points and dished out three assists and Annie Wurm posted seven points and six boards in defeat.
