CLARK FORK — Alicia Heigis scored eight points and pulled down 13 rebounds, but Clark Fork fell 51-29 to Wallace on Tuesday night in North Star League girls hoops at Clark Fork High School.

“She played hard,” said Cats head coach Mark Stevens of Heigis. “She played their 6-3 post really tough, holding her to four points.”

Leslie Kiebert posted nine points, five rebounds and three assists for the Wampus Cats (0-12, 0-4 NSL), who led after the first quarter before the Miners blew the game open with a second quarter barrage of 3-pointers.

“It’s the same old story,” said Stevens. “We played right with them in the first half, then they hit four threes at the end of the second quarter.”

Morgan Hill scored 10 points to lead the Miners (11-3, 5-0 NSL).

Clark Fork plays at Lakeside on Friday.
