Drive safely out there this holiday weekend

One hundred years ago (you may have read this in yesterday’s paper) a gentleman from Sandpoint purchased a new Studebaker in Spokane. The man drove the car all the way home, but the sales rep came along for the ride “in case his services were needed for first aid to the injured.”

Is that a statement about the man’s driving ability or the reliability of a 1914 Studebaker? We’ll never know. But, what we know is that driving can be a risky business.
