PONDERAY — You can’t beat what Baxter’s on Cedar and the Panhandle Animal Shelter have cooking today.
The new restaurant is holding a fundraising evening for the Panhandle Animal Shelter. It’s only fitting since Baxter’s On Cedar, 109 Cedar in Sandpoint, is named after the black lab that owner Rich Curtis adopted from shelter.
Curtis said he cherishes the opportunity to give back to the community and the animal shelter.
