Volunteer daisies are nothing but weeds

Are pretty white daisies volunteering in your garden and yard? Unless you bought them, they are Oxeye Daisies (Leucanthemum vulgare), an official noxious weed in Idaho. They grow from seeds (2,000-4,000 per plant) and from spreading roots. You can check them out online.
They can take over your yard! I suggest you make a bouquet of the flowers (putting the wilted ones in the garbage), and dig the roots out.
If you have questions about this weed or any others, you can contact Bonner County Weed Control, Brad Bluemer at 255-5681.
