American politics is simply bonkers

Not only does America have a political party that is impervious to all entreaties for compromise, it also has a Supreme Court largely in league with Ayn Rand’s rejected ideas.

I agree with Nancy Pelosi — this Supreme Court is dangerous. I mean, does anyone really think the likes of Antonin Scalia, Samuel Alito, and Clarence Thomas are going to rule on any case in accordance with our Constitution?
