Man jailed for mill thefts

SANDPOINT — A Bonner County man was arrested Sunday in connection with a rip-off at the Ceda-Pine Veneer mill in Samuels.

Allan Roger Krebs is charged with grand theft and burglary.

A man who was checking the property for the mill’s owners encountered two men carrying property and confronted them. They ran away, but the witness tackled one of the men, Krebs, whom he recognized as a former employee.
