Push America raises awareness of disabilities

SANDPOINT — If the bicyclists of Push America’s TransAmerica team ever find their energy waning, they just remember the mission that keeps them pedaling.

The cross-country bicycle expedition is driven by their goal to spread awareness and give their time to help people with disabilities. With several more weeks on the road ahead of them, team members know there will be plenty of challenges to overcome, but they’re bolstered by the sense of adventure and the uplifting energy of a good deed.

“Really, I just like to know that in the end, I’ve made the world a better place and had an impact, however small it might be,” said team member Preston Bell of Hattiesburg, Miss.
