SANDPOINT — The U.S. Forest Service announced it will begin removing hazardous trees at the Stagger Inn Campground, the site of a blow-down event that claimed the life of a Sandpoint man.
The tree-removal project is slated to last through June 30. The work also affects access to the Roosevelt Grove of ancient cedars and Granite Falls.
All three attractions will remain closed until further notice.
