SANDPOINT — Outflow at Albeni Falls Dam are decreasing again, according to the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers.

The outflow was at 75,000 cubic feet per second on Thursday and was reduced to 73,000 cfs on Friday. It’s slated to be further reduced to 70,000 cfs.

Inflows will be near 80,000 cfs through the weekend, so the Lake Pend Oreille is expected to rise 1-3 inches per day, Kristian Mickelson, a civil engineer for with the corps’ water management bureau in Seattle, said in an email distributed by the Idaho Lakes Commission.
