Laclede Water District probed

SANDPOINT — The Laclede Water District is under investigation.

Bonner County Prosecutor Louis Marshall said his office received a complaint about alleged improprieties occurring within the embattled district, but declined to elaborate.

“The case is under investigation. I will not comment on the matter until the investigation is complete,” Marshall said.

A search warrant was reportedly served on the district last month.
