Bow deemed 'firearm' in man's arrest
SANDPOINT — Can a hunting bow be construed as a firearm under Idaho law?
That is the question a Bonner County Magistrate Court judge will have to answer in the case of an Oldtown man charged with unlawful possession of a firearm due to a felony conviction.
Jason Charles Miller was arrested for the offense on Saturday, but was released on his own recognizance after Judge Debra Heise found there was insufficient evidence of Miller’s felony conviction, court records show.
