Bonner General expands Parkinson's treatment options
Most of us know someone who has Parkinson’s disease. The fourteenth leading cause of death in the United States, it’s estimated to affect over one million people. The Centers for Disease Control figures that 50,000 to 60,000 new cases of Parkinson’s are diagnosed each year.
“Worldwide, it is estimated that four to six million people suffer from the condition,” the National Parkinson Foundation website says. “There is hope, however, as scientists work towards a cure and make progress in identifying the best treatment options for patients.”
