If everyone isn't voting, it's not a democracy

| March 13, 2014 7:00 AM

In my effort to become a more informed voter, I have learned some frightening facts. I read these letters to the editor and many of you complain about this person or that person or one thing or another. Most people don’t like to talk about politics. They feel it doesn’t matter how you vote or that it will make any difference to even bother. It really is fairly easy to register and vote and please consider this: Less than half of Americans vote and in Idaho it’s even worse — less than one third!
