I know the Constitution and what the commandments are.

The “establishment clause” is the first part of the First Amendment of the U.S. Constitution. The first 10 amendments make up what is called “The Bill of Rights.” The First Amendment states “Congress shall make no law respecting an establishment of religion …” And this is followed immediately by the “free exercise clause,” which states “or prohibiting the free exercise of.”
