SANDPOINT — A Sandpoint motorcyclist was injured Wednesday after colliding with a pregnant white-tailed deer on U.S. Highway 2 in Montana.
Ray Lara was at the head of pack of five motorcyclists riding the Bull River Run when he collided with a deer at 68 mph in a 70 mph zone, according to James Ragland of Rags Classic Car Club.
“His Harley flipped several feet in the air, killing the deer and her fawn,” Ragland said in an email to The Daily Bee.
