Why doesn't city help with Lost in the '50s?

I have been working with Lost in the ’50s since 2000, and as cruise director since 2001. We really need some help from the city. This is our 29th year, as I am sure most of the folks in the city are aware. I know that Carolyn Gleason asks for some relief from fees and was tuned down. As everyone is aware, Lost in the ’50s is Sandpoint’s event, it starts our summer and brings numerous folks to out town, to the hotels, restaurants and local shops.
