Simple steps can help you avoid serious eye damage

I must tell you that last week’s article on noise and hearing loss resulted in calls from several neighbors wanting to know if I was referring them when I complained about early morning power tool clamor. However, I didn’t hear from the culprit. Maybe he can’t see to read.

Oh yes, one subject almost always leads to another, and I was reminded that eye protection is as important as ear protection. So, in a while I’m going to sneak down to the neighbor’s and see if he’s wearing eye protection while operating that equipment. If not, he may incur one of the 125,000 eye injuries that occur every year.
