Festival at Sandpoint line-up shines bright

SANDPOINT —  From Huey Lewis and the News to Nickel Creek, it promises to be a stellar season when the Festival at Sandpoint kicks off at Memorial Field this summer.

The Festival at Sandpoint celebrates its 32nd annual summer concert series, Aug. 7-17, showcasing eight nights of eclectic music under the stars, on the shores of Lake Pend Oreille. The stellar line-up is a mix of cutting edge artists and classic favorites. In addition to Huey Lewis and the News and Nickel Creek, headliners include The Head and the Heart, Trombone Shorty, Galactic, Ray LaMontagne, and Montgomery Gentry as well as rising stars and local favorites including Matty and Mikey, Head for the Hills, Pear, The Belle Brigade, Wade Bowen, Chris Webster and Nina Gerber and Miah Kohal Band.
