Three Wampus Cats punch tickets to state tennis

CLARK FORK — Javi Rebollo didn’t lose a game in beating Coeur d’Alene Charter and Grangeville, then beat the top Grangeville player 6-3-6-2 in the singles final to win the 1A/2A district tennis championship in Lewiston and earn a berth at state.

Rebollo, an exchange student from Spain, emerged as the class of the district and could surprise some people at state.
