SANDPOINT — The Greater Sandpoint Chamber of Commerce is proud to recognize the Bonner County Gardeners Association as its April business of the month.

Bonner County Gardeners Association members provide research-based home horticultural educational programs, community service and assist in beautification projects for the surrounding communities.

The BCGA does a lot to support local groups and causes, said Mack Deibel chamber communication manager. The group’s members assist with school gardens and recently donated a new bench at Farmin Park. They’ve also assisted in the beautifying efforts at the Bonner County Fairgrounds, flower baskets for downtown Sandpoint and landscaping the Mickinnick Trail and the Water Life Discovery Center.

The BCGA also holds and attends many different educational classes and outreach events including the Fall Home Horticulture Series, spring plant sale, garden tours, Home and Garden Show and Sandpoint Farmers’ Market.

“Please join the Greater Sandpoint Chamber of Commerce in congratulating Bonner County Gardeners Association for their award and thanking them for their commitment to our community,” Deibel said.
