We’re going to start today with somewhat irrelevant, but timely history. Thanks to my friend, the late Bob Gunter, I know that it was on May 23, 1903, that Dr. Ones F. Page started a hospital here in Sandpoint.

I was recently getting an update from Don Swanstrom about Intensive Behavioral Therapy that is underwritten by Medicare in which he participates at Bonner General Hospital. When asked if he was a local, he told me that his mother’s first husband was Dr. Page. She was his sixth and final wife and worked as a coordinator for him. Interesting!
