Kiebert earns spot on All-NSL volleyball team
CLARK FORK — Featuring the ability to score points from both the front and back row, Clark Fork junior Leslie Kiebert earned a spot on the All-North Star League volleyball team, as voted on recently by the league’s coaches.
Kiebert, an outside hitter with a strong serve, hit double figures in kills in more than half the Wampus Cats’ matches, with a season high of 22 kills in a loss to Mullan.
She’ll be one of the primary building blocks of next year’s team, and head coach Courtenay Kiebert said her athletic ability really stood out.
“She’s a standout on the floor, one of our go to people. She’s a strong girl and her skills are pretty good,” she said. “Her ball handling from the back row and making smart decisions at the net were her strengths. She’s always a strong and consistent server.”
