Week gives students a boost on college applications
SANDPOINT — With a little help from the state of Idaho, high school students around the district are putting some serious thought into their academic futures.
State officials are expanding a continued education program launched last year with the arrival of the nationwide College Application Week on Monday. According to Sandpoint High School counselor Jeralyn Mire, the idea is to help students get college applications in the mail before graduation looms upon them. Gov. C.L. “Butch” Otter issued a proclamation Monday kicking the week off on Monday.
