Help me be my brother's keeper

| November 18, 2014 6:00 AM

Help me be my brother’s keeper.

Driving home from Clark Fork late afternoon on Oct. 30, my brother Ed Brown was in a terrible car accident. My brother had just completed another day of work with his chainsaw and was on his way home when the accident happened. Ed was ejected from his pickup truck and slammed into a rock wall.

The accident has left my brother with nine broken ribs as well as damage to his lungs, liver, spleen and kidney. The worst injury, however, is a broken back that has left him with no feeling below his waist.

My brother has no insurance and is facing a lifetime of changes. If you can help in any way, please let me know. I am planning on having a fundraising event in the near future for my brother. If you are interested in helping, please call me at (208) 263-7890 or (208) 667-5790 in Coeur d’Alene.

I am trying to set up a bank account at Columbia Bank to help out Ed. Please keep my brother in your prayers and help me be my brother’s keeper.

Thank you,

TOM BROWN
