LPOIC kicking off fall derby

SANDPOINT — The annual Lake Pend Oreille Idaho Club Fall Derby shoves off on Saturday.

The derby runs through Nov. 30, although competition will be suspended on Nov. 27 in observance of Thanksgiving.

More than $9,500 in cash and prizes will be spread across adult competitions for rainbow and lake trout, in addition to two youth divisions. The-first place finishers in the rainbow and Mackinaw divisions will be awarded $1,500 and $1,000, respectively.
