Slaughtering innocent deer not the answer

Bonner County announced that the Sandpoint Airport has a problem with deer being on their runway. I see their solution to slaughtering these innocent animals with bows and arrows as irrational. The deer are unaware they’re not suppose to be on the runway, and if they are killed in December, will they kill more in January? February? March?
