SANDPOINT — The one-two punch of Madi Schoening and Grace Kirscher provided the offense, and Elani Williams had a huge game defensively, leading Sandpoint to a stunning 51-49 overtime win over Lake City in non-league girls basketball Friday night at Les Rogers Court.
Shoening had another huge game against a 5A opponent, scoring 24 points on 7 of 15 shooting from the field and 10-13 from the foul line, to go with 12 rebounds, five steals and three blocks to lead the Bulldogs (1-1), who built a commanding 27-15 halftime lead.
