Hard left hook lands Rosholt first UFC loss

AUSTIN, Texas — For the first three minutes of his UFC heavyweight fight, former Sandpoint wrestler Jared Rosholt dominated the action, landing several huge blows by fist and by knee while also controlling his opponent from the clinch.
But Russian Oleksiy Oliynyk landed the only punch that mattered, a stunning left hook that rocked Rosholt, ending the fight by knockout at 3:21 of the first round on Saturday night at UFC Fight Night 57 in Austin, Texas.
