Does that holiday injury need medical attention?

Sherri put the turkey into a disposable roasting pan and put it in the oven. After about an hour she smelled something funny. The pan had a flaw in it and turkey fat was dripping onto the oven element.

She opened the oven door to take a look and flames flew out at her. She closed the door, turned off the oven and called 911.

She lost the hair on her eyebrows and pretty much most of her bangs. Her arm was burned rather badly, but it could have been worse. Her house could have burned down.

Just so you know, The National Fire Protection Association says that Thanksgiving Day is the day most likely for home cooking fires. There are actually three times as many fires on Thanksgiving than any other day of the year.
