Timberwolves blank Bulldog girls

COEUR d’ALENE — Courtny Hanson scored two goals to lead the Timberwolves past the Bulldogs in the nonleague finale for both schools at the Irma Anderl Soccer Complex.

“Our back line played great and the saves that Tiegan (Horton) needed to make were routine,” Lake City (12-2-1) coach Matt Ruchti said. “It’s tough to play a game like that two days before regionals, but our girls played well and responded like they needed to.”
