Bridge lane closure was very ill-advised

Why do the powers who decide these things have to close one lane of the Long Bridge for six hours from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. today, Oct. 9, right in the middle of the day?

What’s wrong with doing this paving work for six hours at night?

Say from 9 p.m. to 3 a.m. when there is very little traffic.

After all, Idaho is a right-to-work state so overtime or double time pay is unnecessary.
