Thunder earn league wins

KOOTENAI — Angela Shepherd tallied six aces, Anna Alsager eight kills and two blocks and Madi Stanford four kills and five aces, leading the Kootenai Thunder to a 25-15, 25-11, 25-19 win over Genesis Prep Academy in Mountain Christian League volleyball action recently.

The Thunder then faced Christian Center School at home, losing 25-23, 25-16, 25-27, and 25-22 in four sets. Alsager led the way with eight kills, four blocks and 4 aces, Rebecca Budai added six kills, two blocks and nine digs, Marian Soderberg 14 digs, Stanford nine digs and Shepherd four aces in defeat.
