SANDPOINT — The Bulldogs had the champs on the ropes, and for a brief moment it looked like they had pulled off the upset, but in the end, Lewiston claimed a 26-28, 25-12, 25-21, 22-25, 18-16 win over Sandpoint in nonleague volleyball Thursday night at Les Rogers Court.
Three Bulldogs were in double figures, led by Taylor Martin with 20, Laney Search with 12 and Amy Shepard with 11, and the Bulldogs (14-16) served twice for the set, including a tough-luck point at 16-15 in the fifth set.
