Bulldogs sweep district meet

LACLEDE — It was a repeat sweep for the Bulldogs at the 4A Region 1 cross country championships on Thursday at the beautiful but rain-soaked Riley Creek Campgrounds in Laclede.

Jacob Graham crossed the line in 16:51 in the boys race and Rainey Woodward clocked a 19:28, as both harriers finished second and helped their Sandpoint teams defend their district titles.

“We are really proud of our kids today,” Bulldog coach Matt Brass said after the race. “Both varsity teams won, and both our JV teams won also, a total team sweep.”
