SANDPOINT — Bonner County Clerk Ann Dutson-Sater pleaded not guilty Monday to suborning perjury in last year’s failed Lake Pend Oreille School District recall election.

Dutson-Sater’s plea sets the stage for a three-day jury trial in 1st District Court. A trial date is pending.

Dutson-Sater is charged with subornation for allowing recall organizer Tom Bokowy last December to certify under penalty of perjury that he witnessed all of the signatures on a recall petition being gathered when he had not.
