Stanley scores third goal of season in loss to Trojans

POST FALLS — Opening the season with three of the first four games against 5A opponents is no easy task, especially with a young team dealing with injuries.
So Sandpoint head coach Adam Tajan took some solace in his team’s 2-1 loss at Post Falls on Tuesday, in a game that was tight from start to finish.
Kyle Stanley scored his third goal in the past two games to lead the Bulldogs (1-3), who are slowly starting to gel as new varsity players gain minutes and key players return from injury.
