Our water is finite, folks, don't waste it

Our magnificent Colorado River, which for eons carved the scenic Grand Canyon, has dropped 100 feet in volume to the trickle it is today. Aquifers which took centuries to fill and naturally replenished themselves are being pumped dry. California gets its fair share of water from Lake Mead, whose levels have dropped 147 feet due to consumption and drought. California is running out of water. At present consumption the state will be bone dry in two years.
