Bulldogs flash some spark at Lewiston Invite

LEWISTON — Sandpoint showed some grit and resolve, winning four matches and losing to two to finish second on Saturday at the eight team Lewiston Invite Volleyball Tournament.

Taylor Martin posted 30 kills, 26 digs and five aces, and Amy Shepard 15 kills, 32 digs and seven aces, as the Bulldogs (5-3) posted some solid wins before falling to reigning 5A state champion Lewiston 25-16, 25-11 in the championship.
