Take care to prevent a cellulitis infection

This didn’t happen here, and one would hope that it wouldn’t, but one never knows. The world’s most adorable 6-year-old (yes, I’m a bit biased) went in for a routine vaccination before school started and ended up with a severe case of cellulitis and is now being aggressively treated with antibiotics.

First, be aware that this is fairly uncommon. Cellulitis is more often caused by a cut, scratch or bug bite or even a new tattoo or piercing. But that wasn’t the case this time.
