Central Valley blanks Bulldogs

SANDPOINT — As a final tune up for league play, it’s pretty tough to beat a match up with one of the top teams from the Greater Spokane League.
So despite a 2-0 loss to Central Valley (3-0), Sandpoint head coach Conor Baranski wasn’t all that disappointed in the result in a nonleague girls soccer clash Friday night at Pine St. Field.
“I’m perfectly comfortable with that. They’re one of the better teams in the GSL,” said Bulldogs head coach Conor Baranski, noting the Spokane school has twice as many students. “There were a lot of positives, mostly our fight.”
