Why did teacher lose job but not the police?

It is a shame that a local teacher of 17 years had to resign because of emails that were inappropriate he sent that he claims were a joke. But rules are rules, too bad.

I guess the rules are rules do not apply to the local police officers who shot that lady at Bonner General Health six times in the chest. Sure she was high on something and welding a knife but shot six times in the chest killing her?
