Resist desire to take over public lands

| September 18, 2014 7:00 AM

As a citizen of Idaho and someone who has lived in various parts of the United States of America, I highly value the public lands of our nation.

As Idaho’s Federal Lands Interim Committee goes about its work, I would encourage federal oversight of public lands as a way to keep this bond as Americans strong. Keeping federal lands in the hands of the larger public helps “We The People” mean something important and actual.
