No foolin' - there are good reasons to laugh

In 1931, a professor in Hamburg, Germany, by the name of Eugene Lirpa discovered that good health can be catching. He believed that his theory of a “germ of health” was destined to revolutionize old-fashioned methods of rejuvenation.

In his research paper, he described “bacillus sanitatis” as belonging to the staphylococcus class that’s present in every human body. Dr. Lirpa said that many diseases have been cured by patients merely breathing the same air as humans charged with healthy bacilli, coming to the conclusion that health is contagious.
