Why don't two choirs combine forces?

The article about the Threshold Choir and the “Voices of the Heart” choir (March 27, Daily Bee) was a joy to read.

I wish and hope, however, that the two choirs will merge and perhaps choose a third name, “Serenity Choir,” or something like that.
