SANDPOINT — One man died and another was arrested after allegedly robbing a Sagle man at gunpoint on Saturday night in Okanogan County, Wash., according to a published news report.
Spokane television station KHQ reported on Monday that the unidentified Sagle man, 47, was hitchhiking on Highway 20 when he was picked up in a van containing two men and a woman.
The hitchhiker told investigators that the men started doing drugs and acting erratically. One of the men pulled out a .22-caliber pistol and pointed it at the hitchhiker, KHQ reported.
The hitchhiker was relieved of $150 cash and a fly fishing rod, the news report said.
